Frequently Asked Questions

These questions weren't really asked that much yet, but we might as well answer them anyways ...

What is Circle?
It says right here.

How often does Circle come out and how can I get it?
Circle is a DVD supplement to every other issue of Freedombmx Magazine. In countries outside of Germany, Switzerland and Austria, Circle is distributed by these companies.

What format is Circle in?
Circle comes on the goold ol' DVD in PAL format with stereo sound. We don't (and don't plan to) offer NTSC versions. It looks best on the TV but if you really need to, a computer or laptop will do as well, even though we don't recommend it.

Will Circle sponsor me?
No. We have no means of sponsoring. Maybe one day we'll have stickers, I'm sure you can get some of those if we do.

Will Circle show my footage?
Probably! If we like your footage and the quality is good, there is a good chance we will include it in an upcoming issue of Circle. Please send a short e-mail and we'll talk about it.

Does Circle like timecode breaks on my tapes?
No, Timm. Please make sure to send in tapes with out any timecode breaks.

Can I edit for you?
Sure. You can send in sponsor me videos. In the bonus section of each issue we will show the one we like best. More information is here. If you want to edit sections of the main video you should contact us first, there's a lot to talk about first.

Can I advertise with you?
You most certainly can! Here is our advertising sheet with price list and dates. Please feel free to contact us with further questions.

Which format do you need footage and ads in?
Even though we can work with pretty much any format, we prefer the good ol' PAL format on a Mini-DV or DVCAM tape or a data DVD; DV, uncompressed, DV or Photo-JPG at 75%. Please contact us before sending in you DVCProHD tapes, because we might need need to charge for that shit!

Why can't I watch the silly videos on your site??
You need Quicktime 7 for that ... Simple as that.
